Established originally at the end of World War Two in the Godalming area by and in association with others Mr Harry Aldridge the Company has seen the highs and low’s of the Construction Industry throughout its 60 plus years in business. During the 80’s and 90’s the business was owned by Harry’s two sons Clive and Stuart Aldridge who in 1999 decided to dedicate all their resources to their development company thus leaving the way for the current Management Team to take the reins and own the company.
At this time and to prove it’s substance in the Market Place it was decided to turn the company into a privately owned PLC which has proved its worth as the Company has gone from strength to strength since the takeover some 9 years ago.
Not wishing to specialise in any one aspect of the Construction Sector we have become adaptable and versatile thus ensuring our order books are always full and the ongoing level of enquiries remains healthy.
After 5 years of reinvestment back into this business we were able to purchase our new Company Home at Timson House in 2004 which gives us adequate scope to expand the business in the future should we wish to do so.
We have a commitment to all aspects of Health & Safety and are Members of The British Safety Council along with other industry respected professional bodies.
We firmly believe we have heard the last of the legacy “Weeks & Years” and indeed if you go the CH4 link you will see us construct a one off house live on National TV in 6 days. If that doesn’t convince you that we have moved forward then nothing will!!
